Sonic GX turns one: the source code is now available
One year ago, at the Benediction Coding Party #5 in France, Sonic GX was released for the Amstrad GX-4000 and Plus machines. To celebrate its first birthday, I have decided to publish the complete source code of most of my Amstrad CPC/Plus productions, including Sonic GX.
Each production listed below now has a Download source code button on its page, right next to the usual download. The archives are hosted here, on the site, with the rest of the downloads.
People are free to do whatever they want with the Sonic GX source code: read it, study it, modify it, reuse parts of it in their own projects. The only thing I ask is that you do not release other Sonic games based on this source code.
Please note that all of this comes without any support from me: the code is published as it is, and I will not be able to answer questions about it or help you build it.
Have fun digging through it!
